ECW News
There will be an ECW meeting today following the 10:30 service. There is a list of wishes for the family we are adopting for Christmas in Zion Hall. Please check it out and sign up to help make Christmas special for our need family. God's blessings.
Joyful Noisemakers
The Joyful Noisemakers will meet at Country Wood Nursing Center on Monday, December 14th at 11 a.m. Come and see what fun we have!
Midlands Cursillo Ultreya
The annual Midlands cursillo Ultreya will be held on Monday, December 14th at 7 p.m. in Zion Hall. Please bring your covered dish and join the group. Everyoneis welcome.
Games for the Women's Shelter
The Sunday School classes are collecting new children’s games to give to the Women’s Shelter. The mothers at the Shelter will be able to give these games as Christmas gifts to their own children. If you would like to participate in this project please purchase a game for a child between the ages of 5 and 12 and bring it to church unwrapped by Sunday, December 20th.
Bellringers
The Youth Group will be bell ringing on December 19th from 10 to noon at Walmart on Forest Drive. Afterwards, we will move out to the church and make candy and cookies for the Christmas party.
Sunday School Christmas Party
Please be at the church by 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, December 19th. We plan to go to Country Wood Nursing Center and sing Christmas carols for the residents there. Afterwards, we will return to Zion Hall for more fun and eating together.
Christmas Eve Services
There is a signup sheet in Zion Hall for those who wish to participate in the Christmas Eve services, either the 5:30 p.m. or 11 p.m. service.
Poinsettias
Don’t forget to place your order for poinsettias in memory of or in honor of your loved ones to help decorate the church for Christmas. Forms were included in the December newsletter and are available in the Narthex.
