ECW News
Many thanks to everyone who helped to give the ECW adopted family a good Christmas. The ECW has elected new officers for 2010 and 2011. They are: Judy Addison, President, Libby Byars, Vice President, Mary Alice Anderson, Secretary, and Sandy Tracey, Treasurer. Thank you, ladies, for your leadership.
Joyful Noisemakers
The Joyful Noisemakers will meet at Country Wood Nursing Center on Monday, December 21st at 11 a.m. to spread Christmas cheer to the residents there. Come and see!
Games for the Women's Shelter
TODAY is the last day! The Sunday School classes are collecting new children’s games to give to the Women’s Shelter. The mothers at the Shelter will be able to give these games as Christmas gifts to their own children. If you would like to participate in this project please purchase a game for a child between the ages of 5 and 12 and bring it to Zion Hall unwrapped.
Poinsettias
Today is the last day to place your order for poinsettias in memory of or in honor of your loved ones to help decorate the church for Christmas. Forms were included in the December newsletter and are available in the Narthex.

Christmas Eve Services
Christmas Eve services will be held at 5:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Please plan to attend one of these special services. There will be refreshments available in Zion Hall between the services.
New Year's Eve Party
We have two mottos at St. John’s – “Come and See” and “Come and Eat.” Led by Butch and Judy, there is a New Year’s Eve party planned beginning at 6 p.m. on the 31st. Please bring your own meat, snack food or dessert, and beverage. Baked potatoes and salad will be furnished and a small donation is requested to cover the cost. Please let Butch or Judy know if you are coming.
Christmas Choir
If you would like to sing in the choir at the 5:30 p.m. service, please contact Sarah Moore. If you would like to sing at the 11 p.m. service, please contact Thom Neal as soon as possible.
